STers,
I’m lusting for the Xentis wheelset. The Zipp 303s are one year old, purchased by me from LBS here in Cincinnati. They are TUBULAR. I have both the red (shimano) and blue (campy) rear freewheel so either is compatible. The GLUED on (not taped) Continental Competition 22 tubulars have many miles left (I’d guess I have around 400 miles on the set, to include one HIM and IMFL). Wheels are true and will be shipped in original ZIPP wheel box.
I weigh 160# and am easy on my gear. These are perfect. $1400 obo. PM me for photos. This wheelset is $1900 new plus the tires which I paid $135 apiece. Brake pads are $50. I will include either brand new ZIPP brake pads for Shimano or slightly used ZIPP brake pads for Campy, your choice.

?? Conti Comps are $75 a piece new (not $140 ea) and zipp pads are alot less also - $30-40 max a pair???
Check most triathlon sites and you will see that Zipp pads go for 25/pair…you need 2 pairs to ride a bike effectively. Also, when I bought the Contis last Summer, the vectran cover was a new upgrade and my local LBS cut me a break when he sold them to me for 135/piece.
By the way, why all the hate if you aren’t even interested in making an offer???
Nope, just looking for a break out of your price…you have about $300+ of extras with you wheels. Are you -$300 flex with the price if no extras are required???
I’m not interested in removing the tubulars since they have most of their life left. If someone doesn’t need the brake pads (most people don’t already have carbon rims I’m guessing), I can negotiate with them. I’d be happy to, that’s why I listed it as OBO. BTW: I wasn’t happy about paying 135 per tire (I purchased 3 to have a spare), but the LBS who sold me the tubulars and was going to glue the tubulars also sold me the tires. I didn’t feel comfortable taking new tubbies to him or to anyone else if I didn’t buy them from him. I have zero experience with glueing tubulars. I have used the rim strips on a different set of Zipp 606s but have heard that glueing is much more stable with heavier cornering.
I also have S/H, a Dura Ace 10 speed 12-25 cassette and titanium wheel skewers that could be negotiated in/out.
Will try to post photos later on today.

I have a set of 2006 Zipp 303’s in perfect condition if you are interested. These are tubular 700’s with conti comps with vectran (19mm). The wheels and tires have exactly 2 road races and 3 practice criteriums on them. The road races were a 24 miler and a 23 miler and the practice crits were 30 mins each so the total mileage is about 83 miles. I will ship in original packaging and they have been kept in wheel bags the entire time. I just took pictures to put them on e-bay this weekend so if you want me to send the pictures to you just let me know.
