Ziebart Sprint Series is here!

Its that time of year again in Clermont! The Howey-in-the-Hills based sprint series will be held at Lake Louisa State Park starting tonight at 6 pm. 300 yard swim-7 mile bike-1.5 run…registration is cheap too! Hots dogs and beer to follow the race. Great tune up for St. Anthonys too. Hope to see you guys out there… Some pros coming from St. Ants are suppose to race…

Will Bottom Feeder or Marty G. or RA show up? Cmon guys!

I love that series man. Any event in that Park is cool in my book. The commute on a work-day afternoon is kind of a bear, but I can make peace with it. Something cool to do is to repeat that tri twice or three times back-to-back if you want more of a workout.

Can’t make it tonight unfortunately. I plan to go home and cry in my pillow that I’m so fat and out of shape and will thoroughly embarrass myself at St. Anthony’s this weekend. Same ol’ same ol’.

RA may bite though. He seems to lack any ability to say no to pain.

Sounds good man. We will keep you in the loop when the next one comes and you can come out and serve up a woppin!

I’m on beercation for a few more days.

I’m just heading to the park to set up the race! Should be a nice evening - We have 80 pre-registered and expect another 40-50 to show up at the park.

Some French guy (Sansoon?) called this morning about coming over from Tampa to race - he is in town for St. Anthony’s. I told him that Marty Gaal was racing and he should not bother coming over to take second place.

I do not think it scared him away as he did not know who Marty was!

Beer is on ice - Will start the grill at 5:30. See you tonight. Z

Now it all makes sense. Grogan will be there tonight because of the beer! We all know he hates to race and races VERY SELDOMLY. Consider yourself lucky to see him tonight Tom.

Cold beer. Hmmm… Why didn’t you say so eariler!!!

I havent raced in…well…at least 3 days! With St. Anthonys this weekend…I plan on finishing up a couple weeks of racing at every distance. Ironman (AZ)-International (SAT)-Sprint (multirace)-Super Sprint (Ziebart)…all I need is a 1/2 IM next weekend and I will be good to go…be on the look out for next weekend BF!

You’re a freak. I hope I don’t get whatever bug you got that makes you so hyper. God helps us all if little Gavin is putting down 30 miles a week by age 4.

Newsflash: KJG wins $40.00, finishes behind two Canadian ITU athletes, and injures foot.

What did he drop the Keg on his toe?

running thru rocks… here is a re-inactment for you E. http://images.snapfish.com/3437367523232fp63%3Dot>2327%3D%3A3%3A%3D489%3DXROQDF>23238395777%3B2ot1lsi

BottomFeeder Lies and trains in stealth mode, I know for a fact. Don’t be fooled by his dribble…

you good to go for st. a’s?

I will be good to go for St. Ants…but whose kidding who…this is what really happened… http://images.snapfish.com/3437367523232fp58%3Dot>2327%3D%3A3%3A%3D489%3DXROQDF>2323839588293ot1lsi

Kevin did not drop the keg on his foot! - we only had cans of Bud Light at the race. Kevin was one of the last athletes near the beer cooler after the race!

The Canadian’s were fast runners - Kevin got off the bike with them and stayed just behind for the first 1/2 mile.

We had about 120 athletes - about 70 first timers - 60% of the field was female!

A high school triathlon team came over from Flagler Beach! 9 kids ages 15-17 - A young teacher started the club and it was great to see them race. Would be great to see more high school clubs like this around the state!
