Zero Runner for injury recovery/prevention?

Has anyone used the Zero Runner from Octane Fitness to recover from injury? I first saw it at the Boston Marathon expo, where it seemed to be getting a decent amount of attention, but I haven’t heard much about it since then. It looks like a (fairly expensive) glorified elliptical but is pitched as having the ability to replicate the running motion with no impact- similar to water running. I haven’t seen much in the way of real reviews and would be interested in hearing anyone’s personal experience with it.

it is definitely not an elliptical as there is no trac for your feet/legs to follow. It comes closest to simulating a running motion of the fitness equipment out there. I’m sure you have seen it either via video or at the BM. It isn’t cheap ($3m).

PS- I have used it some but not for rehab

Fortuitously I’m going to try one out tomorrow afternoon (hopefully). I’ll reply with my impressions.
