Could be triathlon or roadie….what is your favorite helmet colorway or design? Custom, team, solid, original, factory, whatever.
I could only obtain a certain helmet in black and if it tests out wanted to paint it. I despise black helmets.
I won’t be doing logos unless it is something I personally make up.
I easily fall for Red Bull helmets. They come with a statement, as not everybody can wear them.
Think of a statement first, a motive. Then go for the design.
PS I currently ride the Speedmax with the limited “humuhumunukunukuapua” color paint. If I had the opportunity, I would love to have the Hawaiian trigger fish on my helmet.
Eli Iserbyt’s Belgian champ helmet is pretty great.
I really liked Rally Racing LEM orange to black fade a few years back.
I don’t dig the Red Bull helmet but also don’t like the logo either (mainly colors). The classic Belgium Lazer from 10+ years back was also cool.
Mostly roadie cycling these days. I like a single color, black, helmet. Goes well with any kit or bike color scheme. Not the best for being seen, but that’s what a colorful kit and lights are for.
Cool graphics on a helmet with an eye catching kit can be hard to coordinate to look good.
Looking good is of utmost importance.
