Is there a good Yoga DVD out there? Anyone done the Yoga for Endurance Athletes that is on the top of my screen? Thanks.
brian kest’s power yoga is good. www.poweryoga.com
I have this one and it’s good… http://www.gaiam.com/retail/product/91-0217?HCR=OTC-booyahfeeds&atlas=true&gcid=C18376x014&keyword=91-0217
I’ve been using Flexible Warrior - Athletic Yoga for Triathletes.

The DVD is broken into 3 sets - Energy, Power and Flexibility. I’ve been mostly doing the flexibility segment and it’s helped a lot.
Dave
We use Rodney Yee. He does a basic yoga then does yoga for specific sports-running, biking, swimming, tennis, ect. I use them all including the golf. it offers me a varied routine. Also, I think he is at a resort on the Ironman Hawaii course so you can keep reminding yourself why you’re holding this god awful pose.
yogatoday.com has some great workouts all for free. new episode everyday
I have the Yoga for Endurance Athletes DVD. I don’t have another to compare it with but this one is a pretty good and simple workout. My only complaint with it is that it is rather short. Condidering the price I was expecting more that about 25 minutes of instruction.
It starts with some hip flexor stretching and moves you through several more poses all segwaying(sp?) through downward dog which I need a lot of.
My only other gripe is that I am tired of looking at the unitard wearing pony tail boy. I would much rather do yoga while watching a woman in spandex.
i also like RodneyYee…he always has a great scene on the sets, which is awesome.
lately, i’ve checked out some new ones from netflix, mostly rodney yee. power yoga is my favorite (ashtanga style)
Oneof the best out there-

Call or email anthony and tell him Jason goldberg sent ya and he will take care of ya.
Performance Stretching for MultiSport Athletes by bodyzen. they are at bodyzen.com. easy and quick program to follow and i use it after i get in from a workout. i like it lots.
Thanks for the suggestion. I used to take Anthony’s spin class years ago - it was what got me into triathlon in the first place. I forgot about his Iron Yoga - I’ll look into it.
I recommend “Attack of the Clones.” Great battle scene…Oh wait, I though you said Yoda DVDs. Sorry
We have plenty of Yoda DVD’s at home. Maybe Yoda gets his inner calmness from yoga.
