Yes, Bjorn you are a monster (on the bike)

But is it really true that I do more swim mileage than a pro triathlete? I read in triathlete mag. a while back that you were a swimmer before triathlon, so that would be the reason

ST: Would you describe a typical mid season training week for you and break it down into swimming, running and cycling?

Bjorn: Swim; 4000-6000m. !!!

8000yrds of swimming, 150-70 of riding, 25-35 running
.

I don’t think Bjorn needs to work hard on his swimming, but then again if that is a valid argument, he should be able to do with about 100 miles of biking a week too.

Thats a mile
.

I’m a Bjorn fan.

Would love to see Bjorn concentrate on some oddball cycling events such as the 100 mile TT for example. He seems custom made for that event.

Wait… That’s what I do at the upper end of my HIM training! Oh, if I had Bjorn’s genetics…

The interview is updated with a response from Bjorn as to his swim mileage, go check it out.

Herbert

I read this today and was torn between liking him more because he admitted he didn’t like swimming (who can blame him) and hating him for being able to swim as fast as he does on 4-6K meters a week. I ended up liking him more. He just seems like a regular guy having fun riding a bike … and running and riding a bit.
