Year round pools near Ponte Vedra FL

Besides ocean swimming, any pools for year round swimming? Thanks

Define near? The problem is that the jax area is filled with PUDs so a lot of the pools seem to be private.

When I lived in jax (03-12) I swam at Cecil aquatic in the winter. But that is westside

I did not swim masters at the time but I assume both Bolles and Episcopal have masters programs.

If you follow club swimming Bolles is one of the top clubs in the country

I have lived in PVB for 22 years. Not a lot of good options in PVB or Jacksonville since UNF closed their pool. YMCA or LA Fitness are your best bets.

There’s a YMCA in PV that I’m pretty sure is open year round (outdoors, heated). There’s also the Brooks YMCA in Deerwood Park (15-20mins depending on where you are in PV).

Any other PV questions feel free to ask. I’m up there about every three weeks for work.

I second the YMCAs. The Brooks Pool is indoor and rarely crowded. Adding access to both costs like $6/month more than having access to just one.
