He put more effort into criticizing him than he did the white supremacist groups who were in VA this weekend.

I was one of those that pointed out Obama’s “prickly” nature, but have already noted that on the ego driven fronts, Trump sets the bar substantially higher. It’s doing nothing but diminishing his chances at being more effective, and he still can’t see it.

On the positive, I’ve actually gotten warm fuzzies from the GOP response as a whole. They’ve set up a de fact firewall to protect the GOP from Trump, and that was probably a good idea. I think Kelly, in particular, has taken one for the team by planting himself right inside the White House. I have to speculate that the un-sourced press release from the White House saying what the President should have said, was signed off on by him. He just doesn’t take credit so Trump won’t get pissed at him for upstaging the President.
