Going to replace the wingnuts on my Yakima Mako kayak saddles with locknuts (mainly to increase level of security a bit)
Anyone got an idea what size locknuts I need?

No idea - but if you remove the wingnut and take it into the store with you, you can find a bolt that it will thread onto - which in turn will let you find the correct nut. I assume this is for a minor security upgrade of the mako saddles themselves? It certainly won’t help your boat security any…
