ANT+, Keo celats. no pods, replaceable battery, double legged power. targeted under 1k USD. look the biz, too. backed by a good comapny, too. looks promising! I’d be abit worried about scraping that if I were powering through a corner in a crit tho.
Brim brothers will not be happy.
Very good stuff! My opinion is the pedals are perfect for power meters. And you only need one (Stages method). Once enough people get into it, prices will drop and form factors will get way better, just like how smartphones exploded once Apple figured it out.
If you’re worried about your pedal contacting the ground while cornering (on a tri bike), you’re probably doing it wrong. If you’re pedaling through a corner, then it’s likely not steep enough to be concerned. If you’re not pedaling put your foot down that is opposite of the direction of your lean.

I’m hopeful, but pessimistic. Show me a product. Then we’ll talk. I agree that it’s interesting and well-conceived, but execution and details could still sink it.
Brim brothers haven’t posted an update in a year. Read into that what you want.
Not worried about clearance. Worried about them getting stolen in transition. Maybe something less conspicuous than safety orange? -J
