I had a BTS bottle cage mounted to my Cervelo P5 Six with an XLAB Delta Sonic ML rail. Right in the middle of a 70.3 the rail disconnected from the bike & the whole assembly flew off. When I got home I realized that the rail had snapped in half - part of it was still inside the seatpost!
So sorry that this happened. If you don’t mind emailing our customer service we will process this under warranty for you.
Unfortunately we did discontinue this model, but with some information about your saddle we can replace it with a saddle rail mounted version free of charge.
You can reach our team Monday through Friday 8am to 4:00pm PST - we are located in California.

Let them know you spoke to me on Slowtwitch - I will write to them now letting them know to expect a reach out from ya.
I am out of the office tomorrow, but feel free to PM me or as mentioned reach out to our team and we can get you all sorted!
Absolutely. No one reading this topic should be deterred from buying xlab products - my experience with their customer service has made me much more inclined to shop with them in the future
So we have only found the posts to break if there is an overload of weight on the bar itself and they are more prevalent on Cervelo seatposts.
I can’t remember on the Scott seatposts as it has been a few years since I looked at the back, but on the Cervelo models the material from the top of the hole to the top of the rail is thinner than on other Ritchey rails.
We added a black U-shaped metal clamp to help reinforce the area which we called the Vee Clamp. That definitely helped avoid the breakage.
If you don’t have that Vee Clamp and you have an Aero Pouch 300 I would recommend replacing the pouch with the Multi-Strike option, essentially reducing the weight at the back avoiding a cantilever effect, if at all possible.
