Xlab Carbon Wing & ISM Adamo. Help!

Trying to install a carbon wing on my adamo race & am having a bit of trouble.
Other seat rails seem to be easier for some reason. If anybody can offer some thoughts, I’d appreciate it.
I used the instruction sheet, but I’m not sure the best setup.

First of all, are you using the top & bottom rail holes, or the top one & the one further back?
Secondly, do you have the rail mounts on the horizontal part of the rail, all the way up the vertical part by the bottom of the seat, or on the vertical rail just above where it bends to the horizontal?

If you have it all the way high on the vertical rail, how does it stay that high? Won’t weight pull it down?

As of last night’s setup, I am using the top hole & the back hole, which lets me mount on the vertical rails, but it keeps wanting to slip down.

I’m not sure if the vertical or angled bottled mount is best, and I’m really not sure how the mount the wing.

I can explain further if anybody is willing to help & doesn’t understand what I’m asking.

Thanks!

nobody has an adamo & a carbon wing?
or an adamo & any wing?

I have Adamo and the X wing though not the carbon version. You use the metal braces that come with X wing. It takes four bolts and sets up at whatever angle you want. Not too hard.

I had an Adamo and a Flat wing. Now I have an Adamo and an aero bottle and a cage on the down tube… I struggled just as you are and came to the conclusion of just saying fuck it. I did get it to wrok by playing around with the hole placement of the brackets untill it was just barely pushing up on the back “hanger”. But after that I coudn’t get the bottle cages to angle in such a way that I wasn’t either kicking them when I used a flying mount and dismount, or angling them so that I could use the mount, but couldn’t get them out without signifiant effort.
I have seen it done before, maybe those guys use diffrent cages. Didn’t work for me though.
