Wyn republic trisuits

All threads I can find on wyn republic are pretty old and outdated so starting a fresh one…

I’m about to pull the trigger on their velocity+ 2.0 suit. I was at IMLP and saw a good amount of people wearing wyn, and a good handful of pros wear it so I think it’s a good brand. Looking for recommendations on quality and sizing. I’m 5’9" 140 lbs and my measurements fall in their chart pretty well for a small but as we all know some brands charts are not all that good. Any insight or experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

I’ve got the luceo and velocity suit and I really like them. No chafing issues and they are very comfortable. I have swam with them zipped up in the swim under a wetsuit and swim skin. I’m 5’”10’ 165lbs and wear a medium. The luceo fits a bit snugger than the velocity. The arm cuff is a bit tight when you first put it on but it hasn’t been an issue for me during races. Based on your sizing, the small is probably the right size.

don;t have a trisuit but I have a cycling kit from them and I love it, so much so that I hardly wear it for fear of falling and ripping it.

that said I am an XL in their stuff just like I am with De Soto and Castelli

They are currently my favorite kit manufacturer, period. Cycling, tri, and then even run stuff under their sister brand, MALO.

Follow up, I got a size small and it fits perfectly. Quality and feel excellent, very happy with the purchase.

If you’re in the market for a new suit, highly recommend.
