I’ve got a set of brand new, never installed Bontrager Race Lite Aero levers. Very nice, sleek, with a return spring, but they’re slightly too big for my Vision Tech basebar. Looking to trade for new or used-good condition Vision Tech Aero levers.
I’d also be interested in straight up buying some Vision Tech levers, I can sell the Bontragers as well.
I know this gets asked a million times but is it the carbon or alum vision bars that are a problem? (or both?)
I am having some alum vision bars painted now and have an as new set of VT brakes to go on. I’d like to have a return spring though so would be interested in a swap if the bontragers would definitely fit.
I’m using the alu VT basebar, I can’t speak about the carbon as I’ve never seen one. The Bonty’s might fit, but it’ll take some careful filing and grinding of the levers.
This is standard advice, but good cables/housing, good cable routing, good bike maintenance and sometimes a decent rear brake return spring (ex. Campy) can realy eliminate the need for lever return springs.
