how do you go from ostensibly begging for a free frame, to looking for a circa $600 frame, to looking for a Shiv?
I don’t feel the need to explain this to anyone but I will. I decided to take out a student loan to invest in a frame instead of buying one i am unhappy with now.
I was never looking for a free frame. I just wanted a lead on somewhere I could pay off a frame over time instead of a lump sum. My parents have also decided to help me after their initial anger. I am very grateful for everyone’s generosity, but I never lead anyone on and attempted to take something for free. I post in a very low spot, and I have decided to just take the burden myself and not bother others. Please try and not crucify me for this.
I take it you are not interested in a nose cone Shiv? Arguably, just as fast as the Shiv Tri just a little less maintenance friendly.
Problem is I already have a cockpit I am really happy with.
Sell your cockpit. Nothing wrong with the Specialized setup. I have Zipp Arm Pads instead of the stock Specialized.
