I have a FSA K-Force Light crankset that I am installing over to my road bike. I saw a YouTube video that states I need to have two spacers drive side and one spacer on the slave side…is this correct?
I have the same crankset on my road bike.
No spacers between the frame and BB on either side.
I do have a wavy washer in between the (non-drive side) NDS crank and BB. Tighten the NDS crank on until the wavy washer starts to deform slightly (But certainly not flat) and you’re done!
After much searching and looking at schematics, that’s exactly what I did. No spacers between the BB and the frame, however I installed a wave washer in between the BB and non drive side crank arm. Seems to have done the trick, no more lateral play! Thanks guys.
Where did you find the wave washer?
Correct … the SL-K light and K-Force light only require the wave washer on the non-drive side. If you are missing this, go to a local shop and they should have them for sale in the small parts.
