Would anyone trust a generic full carbon fork from ebay? Has anyone ever purchased one?
I would be just fine riding this. I do think the squiggly one is ugly though.
If you don’t mind an alloy steerer, I’d trust this one more (of budget forks):

Wasn’t a big fan of the squiggles one either. Trying to get rid of a carbon fork with alloy steerer…slowly I am becoming a weight weenie.
85 grams difference between those forks. Not sure how deep your weigh weenieness is…
But, I like this one the best: http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1086750_-1_400022_400002_400206
I got one of the first you list (not the squiggly one) and its fine. Got over a 1000k on it now without any problems. Lots of hills climbing/descending and high speeds on marginal roads.
For the money i’d recommend it if you don’t mind the big carbon weave.
How would this be any different from buying a carbon bike on eBay (which would have one of these forks)? I don’t hear a lot of horror stories about people having their unbrand Chinese frame explode.
Just a note on the “big weave”, ebay also has a selection of “3K” weave forks which has a much smaller weave pattern. See the following:
