Worlds strongest man (eddie hall) beats swim champion in swimming race

https://www.facebook.com/eddiehallwsmlegend/videos/327898774602648/

he was a swimmer in his teenage years .

Lol, did he swam fast or did the other guy not swim hard

Reminds me of that hilarious Shaq versus Phelps episode

.

Well, a Caron island swimming champion who looked like he was swimming heads up freestyle… but Eddie did look pretty good.

Eddie was apparently National Champion at freestyle as an age grouper and part of British swimming’s world class potential programme
.

No disrespect to Eddie Hall or his accomplishments, but we have to acknowledge that the tour guide he raced is a self-proclaimed local “champion” and never even put his head in the water.

Not that I have had my head in the water the last 4 months or would want to race Eddie Hall.

He’d probably beat a lot of people on this forum over 50m, he says he can still go under 30seconds at 30 stone.
24.82 pb, pretty fast, 16:48 for 1500m

I had to Google “stone” which yields that 1 stone = 14 lbs so his 30 stones = 420 lbs. Wow, THAT is some serious weight!!! That said, he was quite an excellent swimmer in his youth and is still quite quick for his size.

I would enjoy watching him, at that size, execute a dive off the blocks and then about 2500M next to the Aquacisers.

Haha!!! That would be truly awesome to see!!! I’m certain that the guy who got “reprimanded” by the aqua instructor would love to see this too!!! Maybe he could get Eddie to come to his club and swim an exhibition timed to coincide with the biggest aqua class.
