Considering pulling the trigger on a Woodway treadmill (4Front). For the life of me I cannot find any documentation specifying how high the running surface is off the ground. Yes, I know it’s not a single number (leveling feet, incline/decline modes, etc), but I’m looking for a basic figure indicating deck height when at 0% incline.
This PDF says it’s 64" to the top of the head unit (pg 27). Assuming the diagram is to scale, my hyper-advanced image analysis skills indicate it’s just over 12" to the top of the deck.
Anybody who has one – is that about right? The room where it would go has an 8’ ceiling, and I’m 6’ tall – is that going to be a problem?
I have an older, different model, and the top of the run deck is 11†up from the floor, and more if it’s at it’s highest percentage incline. It’s in a room with an 8 foot ceiling and at 5’5â€, I’m in no danger of smacking my head on the ceiling.
im going to be in the gym in about 30 minutes and ill measure one of them for you. this one was purchased new about 5 or so years ago, so the deck should still be the same.
off the top of my head im guessing 10", but ill get a for sure measurement to you when my workout is over.
