Women in locker rooms

So this morning when I woke up they were discussing a female reporter being upset about some comments in the Jets locker room.

Before I go on let me say that I do not condone any of the players or staff acting like jackasses

I am not saying that its her fault because of how she dresses. Some men think that makes it ok.

What I am saying is women should not and should never have been allowed in mens locker rooms just as men are not allowed in womens. As a matter of fact I dont need anyone in the locker room except the team. Until the womens rights groups allow men in the locker room with the same rules we currently have for mens the practice should stop. Once the female players raise Holy Hell I think they might get it even though they would still blame men. But I would still be against it.

On a guy note based on the pictures I Googled she’s a hottie

Inez Sainz. Its worth a look. She makes me miss a Brazilian friend I had years ago :frowning:

She brings a new definition to “infobabe” -

My only problem with this is that there is a double standard. If a guy had been catcalled in a locker room by women soccer players everyone would laugh it off and not make it a big deal, or make fun of the guy if he happened to complain.

Apparently her dress was not exactly professional and she has flirted with players and done playful stuff with them in the past during interviews like measuring their arms and asking them to pick her up. If a guy went too far and offended her then it should be dealt with, but she needs to realize the type of working environment she is going into and conduct herself accordingly and she’ll get treated the same way.

I may catch hell for this, but don’t walk into a mens locker room after a football game dressed like a call girl and expect to be treated like Mother Theresa.

I think we all agree. Sexual harassment is never okay, but she sure was asking for it.

I think we agree that sexual harassment is not ok…but as another poster mentioned is walking into a men’s locker room dressed like a call girl and then getting an offer actually sexual harassment?

Seems to me that there has been a radical shift from men being able to act like complete animals and having no repercussions for their actions to women being able to act like complete animals and have no repercussions.

I’m sorry but men are programmed to react like this, literally programmed it’s what we were designed to do. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and acts like a duck…must be a duck. Why then does the guy get in trouble when he treats it like a duck?

I have no idea what the specifics are here, but if she was dressed like she was in 90% of the pictures on the net that show her on field AND in the guys locker room…eventually someone is going to call her a duck. That’s even without acting like a duck which according to other posts here she does/was.

I’m not saying she’s a hooker…but she is wearing the uniform of one.

Seriously though, she can’t expect to be all flirtatious with these guys and doing everything she can to actually get their attention and then scream foul whenever she pleases. If I were the team owner, I think I’d make the locker room off limits to everyone.

Now Clinton Portis is in trouble over this too… http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5572120

WTF does the NFL expect to happen when you put female reporters in a post-game NFL locker room filled with the likes of Ben Rothlisberger, LeRoy Hill, Phillip Merling, Clinton Hart, Jermaine Phillips, Tony McDaniel, Will Billingsley, Shawne Merriman (beating up Tela Tequila), Richard Quinn, Corey McIntyre (masturbating outside a woman’s house after ringing the doorbell), Anthony Mix (sex with a minor), Cornell Green (beating the mother of his children with an aluminum mop handle). All crimes, generally violence, against women and this list only goes back to Feb 2009.

She should have been covering the All-Criminal NFL Team:http://www.holytaco.com/holy-tacos-2010-nfl-all-criminal-team

Apparently her dress was not exactly professional…

According to her interview yesterday one of the morning shows she was dressed fine. In fact, here exact comment was “since when are jeans and a button down inappropriate dress?”

Of course she failed to mention that they were low rider, painted on jeans and her ‘button down’ had one button, very low, stressed to the point of about to pop and was showing a ton of cleavage. But of course, that’s not inappropriate dress…

I am actually on the side of the players here. Their lineman Kris Jenkins I think said it best when he said its their locker room. Its their place to destress, clean up, etc. If you choose to go in there to get an interview you are choosing to expose yourself to the behavior. Thats like going into a cathouse and being offended by ill repute; or going to DC and expecting honest, hard working, politicians  In professional sports you’d be hard pressed to find a locker room that doesn’t allow women. They are press agents, doctors, massage therapists, etc. They are going to be in there, its part of the culture. Its not just a changing room. That being said, they aren’t forced in there; especially on a practice day, especially in what she was wearing. Most reporters realize the rowdiness in the locker rooms of these teams and act accordingly; in my opinion, she didn’t.

She’s also not that hot. If you see closer pictures, she’s got kind of a butter face. What she does have is an enormous set of, what I’m pretty sure are, after market bolt-on tits, which you don’t get unless you want men to pay attention to them. If you find the Fox News interview with her, it’s a miracle the reporter interviewing her was able to keep talking instead of just staring at her chest.

As a matter of fact I dont need anyone in the locker room except the team.

FIFA has that rule. The American press raised quite a stink at the World Cup about it. We want our instant, unlimited access to report on stuff that doesn’t really matter, and won’t get shown live, and packaged for a highlight show in 4 hours, right now. We can’t wait 30 minutes for the players to get cleaned up and talk at a press conference…

Oh my holy be-jebus! Sir, you must hang out with some gorgeous women, because I am likin’ that; if shes a butterface and you don’t want her, I sure do. But I do believe you to be correct regarding her aftermarket appendages. He stared at them for the first 20 seconds or so, I did notice that.

My favorite quote: Those jeans, could they get any tighter?

“They’re my size!”

“she’s got kind of a butter face”

She has a face?

I agree. Locker rooms should be closed to media. They’re change rooms. Why would they be treated differently from any other change rooms? All you’re doing by having ‘open’ locker rooms is forcing women into uncomfortable situations in the chase for a story.

x2 on the butterface. She’s not that hot.

I’m not saying she’s ugly, but look at this picture, and you think she’s a got a really cute face?
