Isn’t that fork subject to the Cervelo recall?
Yes it is the fork that CERVELO recalled…not the manufacturer of the fork. I called and spoke to an engineer at Alpha-Q (company that makes the fork) and he stated the fork is safe and the recall was a choice made by the CERVELO company…not them. I was advised the fork was safe to ride…the decision to recall was perhaps a bike/fork combination issue made by CERVELO. Anyway, it was a $500 fork a couple years ago and is in like new shape. Alpha-Q can be contacted at 800-355-8783 for further questions.
Not sure of the tube length…I will measure when i get home and reply.
