Does anyone have any further intelligence on a possible wireless Powertap for 2006? Any news from Interbike?

Here’s a recent response from their customer service that someone shared with me …
Q: So, will current PT users be able to buy the necessary components to make their current PT Pro’s wireless?
A: The only thing that will remain the same is the shell of the hub. It has new internals, a new transmitter, and a new CPU, so most likely no.

CycleOps is in the final stages of testing i believe. Floyd Landis rode one during the Tour (obviously based on the article) and their marketing manager has been riding one about lately with some pretty good results i hear. I’ve heard they are working on a very deep dish race wheel with the wireless SL. That would be really sweet.
