Just a quick question-- My Red eTap road group is on the way, but my Quarq and its rings are on backorder for an unspecified time. I keep reading that 10-speed cranks seem to work OK with 11-speed drivetrains, but I don’t see any experiences with eTap specifically. My hunch is that for a couple weeks I may deal with some sloppy front shifting but it doesn’t seem like I’d destroy anything riding for a couple weeks while I wait for my Quarq to arrive. Just figured I’d ask around and see if I can get a consensus.
It’ll be fine. You won’t notice any shifting difference.
Yep, as long as you use an 11speed chain - which I assume you were already using anyway.
