I agree. I won’t say it is impossible for the chicken to win, but EXTREMELY unlikely. Top 5 probably, but not on the podium.
Of course if he wants to prove me wrong I am all for it. I think this is shaping up to be a very good Tour.

It’s fairly obvious that Kyle is doping.
We’ll know for sure if he comes back and can ride faster than us — no way he could manage that if he wasn’t on drugs
Pretty sure that you and Flanagan are doping as well…otherwise I would be beating the two of you, but I am ready to definitely accuse you guys.
Ever heard of Kloden or Sastre?
tfun~
Has noone notice Valverde is in 2nd? The guy is going to smoke the TT AND the mountain stages.
Rasmussen will be fighting for the remaining podium spots.
Moreau could do well, but I think mentally he’ll loose it and have a bad day on 1 stage.
Good call.
The only doping I do is Chipotle Chicken Fajita Burritos…mmmm
.
I meant a mountain stage where he blows up, but hey, it all makes for great entertainment!
Rasmussen just got kicked of the Danish National team for the World Championships for apparently “avoiding” doping tests.

I don’t like this one bit…
This is a great line.
“It is confidential information but people have the right to know that the DCU fights for a clean sport,” added Worre
If they are going to release information anyway, why not change the rules and start releasing ALL information. All the negative tests, all the positive tests, etc, and be done with it.
Agreed. What makes his excuse different than anyone else’s excuse?
Rasmussen has dismissed the issue as an administrative mistake, claiming he’s only received one warning on the issue. “There must be someone at the top who doesn’t wish me well,” Rasmussen told Danish newspaper Politiken. "I can’t find another explanation. I tried to give an explanation of what happened, but they wouldn’t accept it.<<
Well, we don’t know what his excuse actually is. “administrative mistake” is quite vague. maybe he did send his itinery to the authorities, but they never got the email, or he mistyped the email address, or…
The difference is that he hasn’t tested positive. So, his excuse is at least that he is not defending himself with utter BS excuses as to why he failed a test.
That said, I recall that Tim Don was suspended for 2 months last year for exactly the same reason.
Yes, I’d like to know more about this administrative mistake. If it was about inaccurately mentioning his flight to Mexico within a day or 2, that’s not a biggy. If it was failing to mention he even went to Mexico, that’s suspension worthy.
according to him (what he told l’Equipe) he had said where he was but the letter arrived to them late.
My first thought however was…a letter??? not an email??
According to Eurosport commentary today, he failed to make his whereabouts known on 4 separate occasions: 2 times for the danish anti-doping agency and 2 times for the int. agency… administrative mistake?..
only once according to him…
probably 2.5 in reality ![]()
Have you played Dungeons and Dragons in the past?
only once - danm that italian mailman is slow.
The danish cycling unions president Jesper Worre says in this article that Rasmussen failed to show for dopingcontroll on two occasions for the danish antidoping agency ADD, and on two other occasions for UCI-dopingcontrolls.
