Why doesn't Computrainer offer... (1)

…a setup using rollers?

I’m really not a fan of trainers, but I’d think a Computrainer using rollers would be cool.

Why dont you just buy a Powertap and use it on the rollers.

Powertap is a more permanent tool, not as quick and easy to use.

If you use several wheels it gets expensive.

It doesn’t have the nice displays and the courses you can load.

I suspect that it would be a very small market. Also top quality rollers are expensive, so the cost would go up.

I think it would be dangerous. Some of the climbs you can do on the CT would be difficult on rollers as you would probably be going too slow to stay verticle. I dont really use the computrainer displays and courses anymore. I use it as a spinscan and watts monitor and watch movies or something.
