Why does Litespeed have so many damn bike models?

For 2004 they have 22 bikes lined up in the preview.

Why so many? Most of them (except the few aluminum ones) are titanium, and they all cost a lot.

‘Oh we’ll have 15 titanium bikes, all near identical except a few will have ultegra, a few dura-ace, and in order to drop the price down to 2999 instead of 3100 we’ll include 4 more with 105’

What’s up with that?

They think they are diversifying, I think they are diluting their niche…they went from having a great niche bike that was top in its league…now they have every day bikes that though they are nice – they are easily out classed by other builders that are still willing to work with consumers to get the consumer the 100% perfect bike for them…ABG is happier trying to sell to the mass’s at a higher margin trying to please some jag off buyer at ShitmaNO by only offering bikes with grouppo’s on them to cow tow to the Jap gods and "prevent grey market grouppo’s from undercutting the price on Colorado Cyclist .Com and killing the IBD who can no longer afford to be a dealer as ABG has idiotic minimums and not practical terms for most small shops….to think I have 3 of their bikes….
.

You sound like a fking millionaire, what’s your job?
