Why can't I make links?

Hey gang…

I’ve tried this before, and it’s quite annoying. I have no idea why using the url tools won’t work. (I know html, too bad that’s not usable here… sigh)

something like:

http://occy.net/ Doesn’t seem to work.

You can see I do know what I’m doing if you look at my signature, because the Links/Url’s work there and I’m doing the SAME exact thing there as here.

If you’re not using Internet Explorer, that could be the problem.

I normally use Firefox, but I have to use IE whenever I want to reply, insert an image, or insert a link.

Yeah, I have been using Firefox… I don’t see why it shouldn’t work if I simply enter in the “html” for it. ie: etc…

This forum uses a text editor that is based on an ActiveX technology. This is an obsolete Microsoft technology that uses COM interfaces as a means to deploy compiled objects. The text editor was bought by whoever developed this forum from a third party component vendor. It will only work if the user has a Microsoft operating system running I.E.

I thought you were a software development expert?!
