Unless their might be some advantage to camouflage…
Or coloring to control temperature …
Or the ugliness of the suit could intimidate the competition …
Function is what counts - does it help maintain your optimum racing temperature (making you faster) - is it comfortable (making you faster) - and does it work well for food storage (to make you faster) - does it have optimum aero and hydrodynamic properties (making you faster)?
No style points are awarded in triathlon.
