Who's Using a Shimano Dynamic Fit Bike?

AKA a bikefitting.com bike…

And my question is specifically this… what is the expected method of controling the resistance unit? What is required to control that resistance unit ($ and software, hardware)? What options exist if you’re going to forgo the $ to drive that thing or switch to another resistance unite (ie will a Computrainer fit on there)?

Any and all advice/experience on this thing welcome.

Hey Ian,

I just sold my Shimano fit bike and I did replace the drive unit on mine with an old Cyclops magnus drive (took a little fab work) and used the rouvy to drive it. Worked much better than the unreliable controller from Bikefitting.com
