How does it compare?
I was expecting Assos/Rapha prices, but it looks to be quite reasonable. $160CAD for bibs and $130CAD for a jersey.

I’ve worn it once and plan to give it another go today. My feedback from my limited 20 miles is that the bib pad is quite nice and the quality is terrific. The jersey has some mesh in the back and under the arms but I ride in Florida so I felt that the kit was still very much on the hot side. There is absolutely no ventilation in the front of the jersey. One nice feature is that there is a little material that goes up the back of the neck a bit to help with the sun.
I will warn you that you should definitely try the stuff on first. The jerseys run very short in my opinion. The jump in length from a medium to a large was very big. Also, I would get the bib and not the shorts. The shorts have sort of an odd low cut in the front and combined with the short jersey, it makes for a quite interesting look.
How do you find the jersey cut? It looks really loose on their website model, and the guy doesn’t look like he’s built like a cyclist.
I got invited into my local store to try the kits on and give some feedback with two of my team mates. Disclosure: They gave me a complimentary jersey for some road testing.
For all of them the materiel is typical lulu athletic wear. Feels great on the skin, stretchy and when I wore the jersey for a 2.5hr ride did a good job of wicking the sweat away. The bad news (at least for me) is it is a bit thick for summer in TX. It definitely was warmer then most of my other kits, so much so I probably won’t wear it until the fall.
The jersey has nice silicon grippers on the sleeves and around the bottom to prevent it from riding up. The zipper pocket was big enough for my large phone.
The bib is sized wrong, at least for the 3 of us who tried it on. To have the legs fit properly the suspenders were way too short, we all came out of the dressing room talking an octave higher. Even going up a size did not solve the problem and two sizes would have been baggy on the bottom.
I don’t have much feedback on the shorts, they seemed to fit well but I didn’t take them out for a test ride. The pad was quite large and thick which felt odd to me as I mainly ride in tri kit.
They also have a vest but I have never worn a cycling vest before so don’t have an opinion on it.
It depends on your sizing. My recommendation is probably a size down but again, it gets short in a hurry. I’m 6’ 182 lbs and would probably have gone with a large for the length but it was definitely a bit baggy. Therefore since I went with the bibs and didn’t have to worry about the low cut shorts, I went with a medium jersey. That fits very snuggly but it is a bit short on me. The sleeves are pretty short no matter what size you get. I hope that helps.
Have a jersey and bibs from last years run of cycling stuff that my wife ordered for me. I would tend to agree that the material is a bit thick for summer riding (I’m in FL) but with a full front zip it isn’t too bad. My first ride in them was a full century and I did not have any issues at all. I’ve thought about buying another set with the one’s they just released but haven’t yet. I didn’t have any sizing issues but I’m also only 5’9 and 135. I’d buy again.
All around nice stuff. I agree that the material is a little thicker. I had to go up a size in the bibs. The straps of a small were very tight so I went with a medium. I’m 5’8" 150lb. Small jersey worked for me.
Lulu HQ is Vancouver… sounds like its designed for their summers.
I went in the store and looked at them last night. Didn’t try one on because I had worked up a sweat walking over. Stupid Georgia summers. The material seems thinner than the jerseys sold at ironman events. Not a lot of color selection. I’ll probably go back over either today or tomorrow and try one. I was just planning on grabbing a jersey. No bibs. If there’s something specific you want me to look at let me know.

Not a lot of colour is right, they me lost at black.
I tested out the bib shorts on a ride the other day and everything that was said about it is true - the suspenders run short, and the material is somewhat thick. The biggest issue with these bibs for me is the chamois pad. It’s unusually thick and the material will fold over as you sit on the saddle and the crease is causing chaffing and discomfort. I’m going to give it another try, but this may be a deal breaker for me.
They’ve gotten a few different color jerseys now.
I was given a jersey and a pair of shorts to see how I liked them and I went with the black because I figured that was the hottest and would give me the best idea. I wore them for a ~125 mile ride 7hr ride in GA 2 weeks ago and then a 98 mile ride last weekend with just the jersey that was stinking hot. I have to say it’s probably my favorite jersey I have. It’s the first one that doesn’t leave me with a tramp stamp when paired with tri-shorts and their own cycling shorts. I’m planning on picking up a different colored jersey this week.
