The Underwear Run used to be held here and they painted a mural of a cyclist on a tri-bike. See the bottom picture of the post at www.fitspeek.com picture . Any locals have some inside information?

I think the photo was published a long time ago in the triathlete magazine, the athlete has, if i remember well, a Scandinavian sounding family name and passed away few years ago.

I think that you are right.

Pretty sure it was a picture of Steve Larsen. I remember when Mike Barret got it painted early 2000ish after he won lake Placid.
