Looking for some new shoes and I have had some good luck with NB 991 So I am looking for the best deal to be had. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Bar none the best deal I have EVER found on running shoes is at Holabird Sports in Baltimore, MD. They consistantly beat my local running store by 25-40%. Delivery is super fast, two days sometimes from the East coast to California. $5.00 flat fee for shipping regardless of how many pairs you buy. If you call in your order, there’s a good chance you can get the buy three pairs, get one free deal they frequently offer. If you love a shoe and want to run in them for a long time it’s a great offeiring because every time I love a shoe, the company goes and dinks with it the next year and I hate it. They also clearance lots of discontinued models too. Check them out.

I also love Holabird Sports. I just purchased a pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 8 for $70. The lack of tax offsets the $5 shipping cost. They are $90 everywhere else.

I use the NB 991 also and it’s mad expensive…LUCKILY…if you know your size…

I just got the Foot Locker Friends and family coupon which is a pretty sweet deal. Check it out!

I’ll second the Holabird recommendation…I’ve used them for 15 years and they have always had great deals. Generally much cheaper in general than any other source.

Just a FYI on Holabird, i tried unsuccesfully to purchase Saucony Trigon 2 because (as I found out later) they are not authorized to sell this shoe over the internet :frowning:

I tried Holabird ONCE. They shipped me a pair of shoes that didn’t fit right. I paid for that shipping. I paid to have them shipped back. They sent me another pair (that fit right) and I paid for that shipping as well. One pair of shoes, three shipping charges. When I complained, all I got from them was an “Oh Well!”
