Who else gets drug tested?

I get drug & alcohol tested randomly so I can work on refineries, but as there are only two of us working on the refinery for the comapnt the testing is me, him, me , him, random, yup, anyway, the only usefull part of this is that I know I am clean but does anyone else do this on a regular basis too?

Yes–my employer also requires urinalysis. At least once a year 100% are tested. So far I’ve always passed.

My brother is an elite racewalker and is subject to 24/7/365 random testing by USAT&F / WADA. He travels extensively, as a coach, and must apprise them well in advance where they can always find him. It’s a huge hassle.

I write software that processes credit card transactions in realtime so yes, drug testing and fbi background monitoring for me. As long as they don’t outlaw Glucosamine I’ll be ok.

2d time in 12 months, too!

Yesterday - 8 Sep 05 0815. While on leave, I was called into my XOs office for one. No time to study for this test, either.

No worries. I think of it as exercise walking between buildings.

15 years with big oil (until March of this year) but was only tested 5 or 6 times and none in the last 8 years. I had to keep a “testing kit” in my company car so I could drive to the closest hospital and provide a sample if called. Also any accident in a co car and I would have an hour to get to a hospital for a test. Because I am in California there are more specific rules about random testing so I didn’t get the call. The folks in TX, AZ, WA got called all the time. Now I work for myself so I decided not to randomly test. But if I strat acting odd I may have to test myself.

I work in law enforcement. So, yes, I’m subject to drug testing. Just did it last week. And passed with flyng colors.

Being a Marine for the past 21 years, I have trouble peeing unless it’s in a plastic bottle with someone watching.

11 years in the Army…maybe 20 tests. It always seems that the guy that the commander is going after “randomly”, always has the same last number of his social security number as I do.

just curious…

do pro Triathletes get tested for PED’s? Is there a program in place for it?.. i know that PED are big in Cycling and mane triathletes crossover so its probably hard to break the habit…

and back on the topic; i only took a drug test after my current work interview.

If an athlete is part of a national team program that feeds into the ITU World Cup circust the elite/pro World Championships and the Olymoc games than an athlete is subject testing any time they race and supposedly through random out of competition testing where offcials will show up at their door and ask for a sample. Athleets need to let someone know where they are at whether training or racing at all times.

One of the reasons, I believe that the GTG was set up was that athletes that raced almost exclusivly on the IM circuit could go a whole year without any testing. A number of the top IM races did not have testing in place and because many of the top long distance athletes had no real need to register with their own national federations( as these feds were/are focused on Olympic Distance racing almost exclusivly), they were not subject to any out of competition testing either. Hence someone could go win good money at select IM races and never get tested. These athletes obviously fell into a gray area that the WTC wanted to clear up and avoid any more embarrasing incidents suchs as the Nina Kraft case from IMH last year.
