White tri suit - see through?

what do you guys think? Which one would go with in a hot climate like florida?

No idea, but I would expect this thread to be photo-bombed shortly :stuck_out_tongue:

Ask Jo Lawn. She used to routinely race in a white woman’s one piece.

Not a good look unless you are an exhibitionist IMHO

Beat me to it.

Only if you are a hot woman… otherwise, please no see through tri suits. And if you are a hot woman in a see through tri suit, I know many members would appreciate photos. I know some would not, but oh well; to each their own.

Apparently the Desoto Forza white trisuit is not see through (so it is claimed), but I don’t see anything about it being wet and not see through.

Maybe Emilio will chime in?

Go light green, light blue…just dont be “that guy” in white
.

Go with hot pink (just like the color of this post).

These I good options

White top with black hiding what’s necessary

I have the hannulink one and I like it a lot

I’m a big fan of the sweat gutr.

I just bought some white sleeves, haven’t tried them in the heat yet so I don’t know if they help.

And if anyone owns all white trisuit that is not revealing please post a picture as proof because I would love to have a suit like that!

I did some races down south last year and bought a white Rocket Science tri suit on the theory that racing in an all black suit in the heat, humidity, and sun, could not be good. It is a great suit and not see through at all. Money well spent, IMO. http://www.rocketsciencesports.com/index.php/man/race-suits/20bpm-rocket-racer.html Fyi, I got it for about 60% of the advertised price although I can’t remember if it was on sale or just cheaper back then.

damn teddy!

you can check our Konami trisuit; mostly white with cold-black tinted panels in the “strategic” areas. perfect for hot weather races.
fabric is derived from F1 pilot suits; very light, heat repellent and not water absorbent.

hope this helps

White is acceptable if you look like this.

Pearl makes “cool black” which is a material that does not heat up nearly like a black material should.

That looks nice, but its $300, maybe look for a sale or something.

Agreed–$300 is out of the question for me and most people on this board. I believe I paid $180 but I can’t remember if it was on sale or just cost less last year. Price aside, it is a really, really nice suit. I didn’t/don’t use the arm or leg sleeves.

I have always liked the look of the Konami. Let me know if you ever make it in a women’s two piece. One piece suits are just too tough to use the bathroom in, even if it’s just before or after the short race… and I have yet to do a long race without needing to.

Our 20BPM suits (1 pc and now 2pc for 2012) are not see through even when wet. We use a dark lining for privacy where it counts. Obviously, you are going to feel more exposed in white, but when racing in hot, humid climates the white is definitely worth it. Also, our suits come with white arm/leg compression to round out the outfit.
