Since I have a white saddle, I vote ‘in’.
Of course, I bought it because it was comfy and the best fit, not because or in spite of the color…
First, I went for what was comfortable. Then I put a white version on road bike, black version on TT bike–based on how the colors matched each bike best.

I’ve got more than 30,000 miles on a white saddle. It’s got some “black” (along with some scuffs) on one side due to a couple of crashes, but otherwise it’s still white. It’s comfortable, so I’ve got no plans to replace it.
white bar tape is so pro.
not sure about saddles, but probably the same.
