White Lithium Grease for BB30 Crank Installation

Need to overhaul my BB30 and reinstall cranks, lots of friction going on in there and I believe one or both of the bearings are shot.
Have all the stuff for installing the bearings themselves, but the crank spindle gets a light coating of grease as well.

White lithium grease from Lucas Oil work OK? Spec sheet as follows; https://lucasoil.com/pdf/TDS_White-Lithium-Grease.pdf
Looks like it should be good but wanted to check before I reinstalled everything.

Why does the crank spindle need grease?

I have a cannondale and put grease on the spindle I think if anything it is to help it slide through the bearing. Any grease should be fine.

Thanks

Help prevent galvanic corrosion between the spindle and bearing race.
Makes insertion easier as well.

I personally use marine grease for the BB spindle and bearings. I have been doing this for two years now and am happy with the results. The general theory of marine grease is increased hydrophobicity. On the spindle this is not really a concern, but for the BB30 bearings that is my go to grease. I also use marine grease for the headset bearings, and speedplay pedals. It’s so cheap and the results have been exceptional.
