We plan on opening on-line registration for the 2007 Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon on Monday, December 4th. On-line registration will be through Active.com.

Do not know how long it will take to fill up the race, so sign up early! Z

Tom - Your welcome - would be nice to fill up in two days, but I do not think that will happen.

Never say Never, though - It might fill up very fast. We plan on sending out a press release announcing the registration opening and will also send an e-mail to everyone that participated last year. Z

Z…what’s the race day for '07? I haven’t been up to Michigan in years and I’ve been wanting to do this race.

Andrew - we will see how registration is going - hate to turn people away, but at some point we will run out of room in the transition. We are going to do two things to make sure the bike course is safe and fair in 2007 - #1 increase the number of waves - each wave will be 150 athletes - #2 increase the time between each wave - 8-10 min. between waves.

Be sure to let the Cleveland Triathlon Club know about the registration date of Dec. 4th. Would love to see lots of your club members come over to the race next summer!

Will you save a spot for me? I met you at the race last year and my racing again depends on me getting a job I am interviewing for next week and might not know if I got it by the 4th?
