which do you like?? and why…soft one could eventually be the norm??
wearlink is the way to go. never slips, fewer 227 moments. it becomes part of your body, not just something strapped on.
I have a wearlink and it is far more comfortable than the original. However, the clip on one side of the strap started falling apart immediately after I received it and is barely in one piece after less than one month of use. I need to send it in, but I use it every week for TTs, and don’t want to be without! Other than that, it has been great
Concur with the others…wearlink is deffinately the way to go. I had the regular hard plastic polar strap and always got erroneous (sp?) reading because it wouldn’t make good contact. Soft band and smaller transmitter (width) on the wearlink conforms to your body.
For the ST’er that was having problems…I would call Polar and see if they would send you a replacement and let you follow-up with the broken one after the fact. They were VERY helpful with my cracked button on my HRM. Worth a try.
