Which quark power meter for S Works Shiv?

I’m a mechanical moron and never owned a power meter before. I’ve got a S works shiv 2011 with SRAM red components and was told that a SRM will not work or fit in these bikes. I was told only a Quark works in these. True? If so do all Quark work or only certain ones? Which one is best? The crank that is on now is an S Works

Thanks,

You can use ether a bb30 version of the quarq or Gxp with bb30 adaptors $30. I have a gxp version for sale.

Also, there should be an adaptor for shimano to run on a bb30 bottom bracket.

mine is a bb30 s works
.

I have 2013 Shiv, with the Specialized branded Quarq. Depending on crank size there are two options: Compact = 110mm, Standard = 130mm. Below is link to where to review/buy. Of note: Quarq’s msrp is $1,795. Specialized (is a Quarq w/ their branding) msrp is $1,600. Can’t speak to why pricing difference, but it’s same product from what I can tell. BTW is awesome!
