Which pro rider has the lowest drag position?

I vote levi

i hear that there exist head on pictures of him in his TT position but that cameras don’t have enough megapixels to actually record the image.

Yeah, I’d go with Levi, his drag could be calculated by taking a Trek TTX to the wind tunnel and putting an aero helmet on the bars. That’s about what the wind sees when he is riding.

Ignatiev certainly looks fast.

That was last year - go here:

and scroll down a bit for a pic of him during the Annecy TT.

(The reason that Ignatiev has caught my attention is that he strikes me as a younger, faster version of Ekimov…)

Agreed…I think on the day of the TT I had commented that Ignatiev sure looked pretty darn aero to my eye. I’ll bet he wasn’t doing the “typewriter” on his seat, either…and it wasn’t because he had more “grip tape”

Totally unrelated…but in looking at those Watson pics, does anyone know why Cancellara’s skinsuit has the extra topo map lines on it? I kind of like that effect…and I wonder why the Garmin team doesn’t use that as part of their kit design. That would be cool…and appropriate IMHO.

I think from some closeups that it’s a map of Switzerland. Perhaps the swiss TT route? There were some very good close-ups, but I can’t remember where I saw them.
