Does anyone know which ironman races will be pro purse races next year?

So far through July, basically same as 2015
.
I assume you don’t know but is Rev3 bringing back their pro purse this year? I know they haven’t announced anything but wasn’t sure if they might have hinted one way or another to allow the pros another option. Would hope they would bring it back!

Think there were a few changes like LP now has a pro race for females and IM Canada only for men…But yes basically unchanged. I think they can curtail it a little more to get better racing, and pay deeper
Just talked to them recently but yes I “think” there will be some form of pro race, just have to nail down what it will be.
@asianzone yes men’s field for IM Whistler and women’s field for IMLP
All Female Professional Field
Ironman Lake Placid – July 24, 2016
Ironman Wisconsin – Sept. 11, 2016
Ironman 70.3 Augusta – Sept. 25, 20126
All Male Professional Field
Ironman Canada – July 24, 2016
Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz – Sept. 11, 2016
Ironman Chattanooga – Sept. 25, 2016
Oh thats great to hear! Also, do you know know what USAT does with mens/womens only pro fields and elite qualification? Do they care if it’s only one gender as long as the prize purse the right amount?
Sorry not sure but I would assume a guy could still qualify so long as there’s a men’s pro race (and women at women’s)
.
That makes sense but wasn’t sure since the top 3 amateur finish doesn’t really need same sex pros but obviously the 8% one does. I assume they’ll have to figure that out sooner rather than later with the new split pro races.
