Where to swim around San Clemente, CA?

HI Guys,
I’ll be in the area for a week in May and looking for Masters programs and or places to swim.
Any info would be very helpful.

There’s the San Clemente Pier, and as far as Masters Groups go, there are some in Irvine (NOVA Masters is good) but that’s 25 miles north. Can’t tell you about any local ones.

I live in San Clemente. You can swim with the Masters group here:

It’s Ole Hansen Pool. ST’er Monty swims there a lot.

If you want open water swimming, park at Capo Beach (Beach Road/Palisades and PCH intersection) about 2 1/2 miles north of Ole Hansen Pool and swim along the beach.
