Pretty simple I need a new iMac for my office. I don’t want to buy new and prefer refurbished. Where is the best site to order from or is apple the superior choice? For what it matters I will be shipping to Alaska.
I have ordered several refurbished products from Apple. All the stuff had the peel off plastic on them and looked brand new. It was impossible for me to tell the difference between new and refurbished other than the invoice.
How soon do you need? They often have screaming Black Friday deals on refurbs. I got one maybe three years ago. Also could not tell it was not new.
Probably Apple, but B&H sometimes has good deals on Apple products. The main downside for them is that they ship from NYC so rather far from Alaska.

Our last two iMacs were refurbs from Apple (2005 and 2011), and they are both still running (though both have long since been obsolete due to hardware limitations). Newest Mac mini purchase was from B&H so that’s also an option.
