I have a frame that is in need of a new paint job. Where do I take it to get it painted?
I am in Vancouver.
Thanks.

the only place off the top of my head is: http://www.cervelo.com/hottubes.html
Friend of mine recently sent back his aegis frame and the new paint job is gorgeous. Also, if you snoop around the serotta forum, there are a lot of recommendations on frame painters.
I used Paint It from the forum - Greg Timewell had Yvonnes and his done by a guy in Richmond - Kursor or something similar - great job on both
.
Was in talking to Greg about this a couple of weeks ago. It was Dekerf in Richmond that did his P3 custom paint as well as Yvonne’s Dual custom paint. I am wanting to get my Giant and my Dual painted flat black this year. I am going to get Dekerf to do it after I saw Greg’s bike. They are local and inexpensize from what I can see.

What are you going to do in regards to paint.
Toxik Harold is another option. Does a great job and is very fast. http://www.toxikdesignlab.com. He is in Richmond as well.
just a note: When I got my serotta I got solid black (well, metallic) and I loved it. One year later (and the frame trashed after it kissed a benz) I’m kind of hesitant to do the black again. I loved it, and got a lot of comments about it, but its starting to look like everyone else. I know patterns (flames, waves) are in and out but this whole black thing… (still haven’t decided what to do actually)
I would look into Danny Green in nawlins (hopefully he’s doing ok since Katrina). Beautiful work.

Or also Spectrum Powerworks in Colorado Springs. Also beautiful work.
I’ve got two frames (Cervelo P2 and Trek 5900) painted at The Color Factory in Jersey and have been very happy. Bruce is a nice guy to work with (He used to paint for one of the makers, maybe Elite?) and you can’t beat the price. He starts at $139 and for around $200 you can have all the bells and whistles. Don’t be afraid of the price, he does a good job.
