Go buy any flea market and you can find them.
But why would you want to do so? Oakley has an outlet with discontinued items on sale. That is where I get mine.

On the beach in Mexico.
If anyone can find me knock off factory pilots or eyeshades, I would be forever grateful.
The problem with buying Fakleys is that you do not know if they will actually protect your eyes. Do they meet standards to protect your eyes from harmful UV radiation or are they just coloured plastic. Do they meet standards for impact protection or are they made of plastic that will injury you in a crash.
I think that you are better off buying a cheaper brand that meets the relevant standards. You won’t look like the cool kids but your eyes will be protected.

You are 100% right if the UV radiation isn’t blocked. I have actually been curious about this and did some some research after I came up with my recommendation for my “best cheap aero glasses” rec. A big part of that Crews rec was because they are OHSA certified safety googles that just happen to be darn good aero sunglasses and decently stylish as far as aero glasses go, but I would be very hesitant to recommend the knockoff glasses/brands without making sure the UV is there. The big box news outlets did a piece on just this testing glasses and all but one pair they tested came back with 100% UV protection. Not sure if that one was just to scare the public or not.
Regardless the trend has been for the Amazon resellers to remove the AliExpress step for consumers. They just buy in bulk, rebrand, and resell via Amazon. They also seem to circumvent any assertion of Oakleys copyright/trademark, which dovetails on the Big Sexy thread last week, by removing the associated trademarks logo in favor of their own logos. Example of this for Oakley Raderlocks => Fivebox or Oakley Rader Sport => Ducco. The quality seem to be a little less than a true Oakley supplier but unnoticeable to the untrained eye. They usually come with a Polarized lens which is easily verified with the included test sheet. Hard to imagine these companies would go thru all the trouble to put Polarized lenses out and not make the 100% UV protection but I would have to think someone is an optomologist on here with access to the machine that tests for UV.
But your eyes are incredibly important. Personally, I have recognized this training daily in Florida. I am about to go to Blue Blockers because seriously cycling glasses don’t provide enough coverage. It took living in Florida to realize this.

Urban myth??? Even if one set of Fakleys has been tested and passed does not mean that the pair of Fakleys that you buy will block UV light and be safe in an impact. There are multiple suppliers of Fakleys on Aliexpress and Amazon some of them may not be safe.
I live in Australia where eye protection from the sun is very important and I would not risk my eyes with Fakelys. I only buy sun glasses that have been tested to meet Australian standards for UV protection and impact.
Cozumel off the cruise ship. Wife wears them now and they’re still holding up.

It’s really not that simple. The true quality of a product can vary wildly.
Experience with manufacturing out of China would tell you that if you exert downward pressure on price, without any sort of regulating mechanism, product quality goes down; sometimes drastically for those aspects which are more intangible.
Even with contracted manufacturing, the tyranny of distance can lead to insufficient oversight and product quality devolving spontaneously. Production batches can end up binned because someone, somewhere along the chain, cut too many (or too large a) corner(s).
I can appreciate the sheer resourcefulness displayed some manufacturers to make something for orders of magnitude less, but not everything should be plucked out of the cheap bin and safety equipment is definitely on that list.
I am sure everyone is aware of the monopoly held by Luxottica and that there is little doubt that equivalent quality sunnies could be produced and sold for far less than we currently pay. However, I would not use a $25 product that came with 2-3 interchangeable lenses and a hard-case without directly testing their absorption profile.
Oakleys are the fakes.
Here. USGI aviators: https://www.amazon.com/AO-Eyewear/b/ref=w_bl_hsx_s_sp_web_6822218011?ie=UTF8&node=6822218011&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=AO+Eyewear
Wearing crappy sunglasses or knowing that the only pair of eyes you’ll ever have are covered by something that’s undergone rigorous testing…hmmm. If I wore ripoff sunglasses here in NZ I’d absolutely expect damage to my eyes. I’ve also had gravel fly at me fast enough on the road to take the bottom rim of foam off my helmet and make me bleed.
Don’t risk your eyesight. It’s useful.
Speaking of aviators, where do you buy fake Rokas? Their specs are nice, but damn they’re expensive…
Will have to keep cycling in RayBans.
Looking to buy some Foakleys. Let me know any trusted sites that you’d recommend?
So you’re looking for a “trusted” site to buy a fake product? That’s funny stuff right there!
I got some fake Jawbreakers off Amazon for about $15. It came with 3 sets of lenses.
I’d rather wear something cheapish from Tifosi. I always had good luck with Spy glasses, but they seem to be doing less performance oriented stuff now. Rudy Project makes great stuff, and erudy always has good deals. My latest favorite is Adidas, but they are nearly as expensive as Oakleys (or more expensive than oakleys if you have an outlet near by).
I considered buying some real Oakley lenses for my fake frames, but the quality of the hinge makes me think I’d just be wasting my time and money on cheap frames that could break at any time.

If you think about it logically, even if you were producing fake UV sunglasses, the shockwave from a fallout could be catastrophic. As a result it is in the best interest of the cheap companies to make sure there isn’t a scandal in the industry. I don’t know enough about how you block UV in sunglasses, but it seems to me that ‘polarization is 100x’ more expensive of a feature, or at least the retail sales associates at legitimate sunglass retailers would lead me to believe that. If that is true why include polarization if it is so costly.
Regardless I would be curious to hear Amazon’s position on this. For instance, they removed solar eclipse glasses earlier this summer from some sellers. It seems they understand there is some liability they have themselves even if they don’t take ownership of the product. They seemed to do something similar maybe with the hoverboards as well.
Regardless, I don’t think the cycling sunglasses go thru the same certs as says safety googles here in the US for ANSI Z87+ sa so it begs the question, if you are really concerned about the best protection it would seem that you would only seek those out.
