I’ve been riding in the same clothes for a few years now and am always a little jealous when I’m riding with some people who are all decked out in cool jerseys and matching shorts. Where do you guys buy your stuff? Help me out…

ebay. only jerseys though. nothing over $15 or so. None of my shit matches.
Any LBS should have a wide variety of Jersey’s and shorts. I mean I race and train in our team kits, which are provided by our shop, but I have a few extra jerseys to train in that I got on sale at our LBS and same with additional shorts.
Dude! A few years. . . That’s not old. Those things last forever. A friend did feel sorry for me and give me a new jersey this year, but aside from that one my newest jersey is from 1991. My other jerseys are from 1982, 1984, and 1986. Wash them in cold water gentle cycle and you’ve got a jersey for life.

I buy my summer jerseys at the end of summer and my winter ones at the beginning of spring. God bless the clearance sales.

For races I agree, if you’re not part of the team. For training, go ahead and buy one, support the sport. If nobody’s buying the pro team jerseys, who will want to sponsor the sport. If nobody wore your favorite Football team’s jersey, they’d have to change the logos and shit, it’s the same for cycling.
