Where can I find a list of cycling events?

so I’m thinking that instead of pushing this knee thing, perhaps it is best to recover and run sometimes, but not often.

also I’m interested in doing some cycling events but haven’t been able to find a resouce on the internet where I can identify events (centuries and the like), races, and learn about them, etc.

Do you know of any resources on line that will list out events for 2005? (BTW, I’m in the midwest)

thanks in advance!!

Maybe Active.com?

www.bikereg.com
.

mcf.net will get you all of the registered cycling events in Minnesota. www.midwestevents.com has cycling, duals, tris, running, and inline for many events.

A great site for rides in the midwest is …

Another option:

Kittycat, unless i am misremembering (I probably am) you live in Midland MI. If so stop by Bicycle HQ on bay city road. They have flyers for rides and the owner is an old roadie who can give you some direction. If you don’t live there I have confused you with another poster and am deeply ashamed. :frowning:

Calvin’s Challenge: A 12 hr endurance race near Dayton OH on April 30. They have a non-competitive division as well. Drafting and aerobars allowed. Looks interesting if only to get some big miles in with a bunch of people around to push you a little.

www.lmb.org is also a good resource my precious little kitten.
