What ever happen to Andy Carlson, one of the young top triathletes during the early 90’s? and for that matter, Mike Pigg as well?

Indeed, good people. As a spectator in Kona in 1993, struck up a conversation with Mrs. Pigg on Palani Hill as she waited for Mike to head up and out to the Queen K, and she was as nice as could be. Just plain nice folks.
Last I heard, Andy moved out here to Boulder about 10 years ago and was doing something in the bike industry-rep maybe. I remember him when he was a valet at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel with Eric Squires and Craig Calvin, a couple of other notoriously fast guys. They used to torture a lot of the hotshots in San Diego back in the old Ransho Santa Fe Tuesday runs.
What I’d like to see - 5 years from now is a Pigg versus Larson versus Kenny Souza showdown for charity!! Maybe a Buffalo Springs venue. Each only gets to train for say 5/10 hours per week for 6 months leading up to the race (like most of us mortals). Call Don King!!!
