Went to a friends party and they were growing it in the kitchen window and juicing it every morning. They talked about it like it was some miracle and that they couldn’t live without it. “Every oz is like 2.5 lbs of vegetables”. I know there is no fiber, but is it that good? If there is some actual value I think it would be fun to grow with the kids.

This stuff is very good for you. The reason people say 1oz has the nutrition of 2.5lbs of vegetables is because, like all sprouts, the nutrients are very concentrated. Google “Ann Wigmore” and you’ll find tons of antidotal evidence - and a ton of over-the-top veg-head stuff too. For example, some argue that it’ll fix everything from skin wrinkles to grey hair. Personally, I don’t believe all of it. But I do believe that if we give our bodies half a chance, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. We just have to stop giving it crap - from food, environment, stress, etc…
