How would you build your “Dream Bike” be if money and availability were no object? What wheels, components, frame, electronics, hydration system, etc…
P5-6 with the aduro bars
Firecrest 808 clincher front
Whatever the lightest flat powertap disc on the planet is for the rear
dura ace mechanical gruppo. 11 speed, with a single chainring setup, 11-28 casette, 54T chainring.
hydration system: my kidneys if the race is < 45 minutes, otherwise a bottle between the arms
Well … they are in my garage:
Road: BMC TMR01, Enve 65s with powertap, Di2, Zipp carbon cockpit
TT: Cervelo P5-3 (need to be UCI legal), Hed Jet90 front/disc
“extra” crit and 'cross bikes not quite as nice, but serviceable
Thanks for giving me a reason to post a pic of him again.

Damn. Nicely done. That’s all I’ve got.
Full custom steel Mosaic road bike with seatmast (just because). Di2.
It’s currently in the Mosaic build queue and should be done mind May.
I already own mine.
Parlee Z5 sl
Campy Super Record TI 11sp
Enve 45s
Enve post,bar,stem
14.5lbs
1940’s olmo with cambio corsa its one sexy badass machine. Cambio corsa revolutionized racing and gave more speed gains than any super bike ever produced.
Gino bartali won the tdf with it in 1948 and in doing do helped bring peace to italy. Of course that was when people cared about cycling.
Thanks for giving me a reason to post a pic of him again.
I thought bikes were supposed to be “hers.” Whatever floats your boat. Are you going to race with the Jet 9 up front?
My dream bike:
P5-3
Di2
Brezza Nano
Firecrest 808 CC front, CC Rear
Nice to hear everybody already has ther dream bikes. I would say I’m pretty close myself:
P5-6 (upgrade), Quarq Red, '13 Zipp FC 404’s. I suppose I could get a deeper wheel and mechanical 11 speed, but I really love my rig just the way it is. I also might upgrade to Dash’s Seatpost/Sadlle TT9 combo.
BTW, that Blue is a beauty!
VERY nice - I’d love that for training camps in the mountains!
Custom Speedvagen. Full Record. Enve 3.4s on King hubs. Enve cockpit. Should be here in the next month!

That sounds pretty spot on, though I’m not a TT’r, so I’d take more traditional gearing (and I am not fussy on which PM I’d have) I haven’t rode DI yet, but I am curious as to why you would stick with mechanical (I was thinking about this the other day, and leaning to mechanical as well for when I upgrade, just on a hunch really).
Nice. That’s the business right there.
The Keith Haring Cinelli Laser. No idea what it would take to pry that out of Signor Columbos hands, but the term a lot comes to mind.
As far as a “normal” bike goes.
Baum titanium set up for long multiday day riding. Probably DA clinchers, mid depth, still not sold on carbon rims for wet descents, SRAM red,
I got enough batteries to deal with, with the power meter and head unit
.
English TT with 11spd Di2 and 808 / super9 wheelset.
oh and I would have zipp build me a one off Zipp Vumachrono with reduced q-factor single ring crankset and single ring teeth so I don’t need an FD or chain catcher.
English TT with 11spd Di2 and 808 / super9 wheelset.
Those English bikes are kool but the most interesting bike out there in my opinon is the Renovo wood framed bikes! Would love to ride one,if they are as good as people say that is what I would want.
to bad ass looking to be a woman :0) yes I am going to ride the Jet9 up fromt
